RUSH Kakamega

       

Founded in 2000, RUSH (Reaching Unreached through Self Help) is a non-profitable charity based in Kakamega, Kenya.  It has grown to serve over a thousand of the country’s most disadvantaged people, namely widows, orphans and those infected with HIV.

RUSH assists people with a wide variety of needs providing them with the love and support required to improve their situation.  People who would otherwise be ostracised by their communities and families are given a sense of belonging and value which leads to a hope for the future.

The fundamental aim of RUSH is to equip people with skills, resources and knowledge through a vast range of projects.  This ensures each individual is able to sustain themselves and their families.
